Multi-Speaker Bluetooth Audio Streaming System

ABSTRACT This paper presents the design and implementation of a Multi-Speaker Bluetooth Audio Streaming System that utilizes the Web Bluetooth API [3] and React framework [2] to facilitate the synchronized streaming of audio to multiple Bluetooth speakers via a web interface. The system aims to enable synchronized audio streaming across multiple Bluetooth speakers through a web-based interface. This system overcomes limitations found in conventional streaming technologies [5], [7] by offering a scalable, browser-based approach that supports dynamic, multi-device connectivity [10] and synchronization. Key challenges addressed include achieving synchronization among speakers, managing multiple connections effectively, and handling the inherent limitations of the Bluetooth protocol and browser-based implementations. We introduce a novel synchronization algorithm to minimize latency discrepancies, detail centralized connection model, discuss the limits of simultaneous Bluetooth connections and evaluate the system's performance across various operating conditions.
