It is using materials and energy more efficiently and conserving natural sources including water. It is following best management practices and involving all relative people in their implementation to reduce and prevent the pollution. Source reduction is the primary component of pollution preventionand sometimes the term is used synonymously with pollution prevention. The focus of pollution prevention is conservation and waste minimizes or elimination not pollution control.
