UNICEF1 research report analysed that nearly ten percent of children in the world have affected specific learning disabilities (SLD) and the maximum percentage of these children are educated in formal education institution. The main resource for children of different age groups with specific learning disabilities to cope up with regular curriculum in the classroom is access to assistive technology. To prepare children with intellectual disabilities on how to utilize assistive technology in the learning process is important for teaching community who are specialized in technical skills. This systematic review focused on teaching methods theoretically and practical knowledge along with focus on perspectives in using assistive technology regarding students of different learning levels with SLD. Adults with different intellectual disabilities universally need to develop self - adequacy control and self-determination, inclusion and participation in their special education institutions or community, and enhanced social inclusion. Technology is a necessary support in attaining the above targeted goals. In this study we analysed the intensity of support needs based on persons with intellectual disability (ID) by severity of their intellectual deficit, as well as examining the level of providing needed requirements of disabled individuals suffering with autism, acute mental health problems, and physical limits. Based on medical reports and IQ analysis files of provision of requirements to disabled persons with ID and particular concomitant conditions identified the need for the use of scientific technology and innovative assistive devices to address the support needs of people with intellectual disability in getting into suitable placements.
