Neuromotor Impairment Assessment for Infant

ABSTRACT In this paper we present a novel idea to gauge motor skills of the infants based on the knowledge derived from the videos using pose estimation a deep learning model , and make the process automated. We assess that by how much an infant under consideration varies from a collection of healthy infants. We have developed a system for the guardians or the parents, who can check whether their child is experiencing some form of motor impairment or not, based on the quantified measures. It will ultimately help parents to intervene at the early stage of the development of their infant.
