New techniques for solving fractional partial differential equations

ABSTRACT In the present work, fractional order partial differential equations are solved using new effective technique. This new method to solve partial fractional differential equations found to be more easy and simple to employ. Firstly, difference equations for partial derivatives and first order approach for time fractional partial derivative is used [7]. Further both explicit and implicit methods are developed. In general, implicit method is more stable than explicit but at the same time more expensive and convoluted. To overcome these difficulties in implicit method, we used change in index variable and converted given implicit form into tri-diagonal system of linear equations which are easy to handle than implicit method in its original form.
