ABSTRACT Background: Physical fitness is an important predictor of morbidity and mortality in both healthy individuals and patients with chronic diseases. Exercise capacity is a key element of physical fitness. Test to measure exercise capacity that a subject could complete quickly in a small space would be advantageous. 1min Sit-to-stand-test is such test which captures the number of times a subject can stand up and sit down on a regular chair in 1 min. Objectives: 1. To find the normative values of 1-min sit-to-stand in age group 18-65 years. 2. To find correlation between age, height, weight and gender with number of repetitions in sit-to-stand-test
