ABSTRACT
Technology has revolutionized everyday life for all of us, but it has tremendous benefits especially for those who are blind or visually impaired. Until recently, the world of printing has been widely closed to people with little or no vision. But the power of computers has now put this world within the grasp of those who are incapable of seeing it.Computer technology, including specialized hardware or software that simulates the human voice by reading the computer screen or producing a hardcopy output into Braille. Designed to help people with disabilities accomplish everyday tasks, has changed the lives of countless visually impaired people. Assistive technology has broken down numerous barriers to the education and employment of people with visual impairments. Thanks to Advanced technology, visually impaired students can do homework, research, take tests and read books with their visually impaired peers. Adults with visual impairments can continue to work and have many careers in society as a whole because of the use of the computer and other devices.
