One factor at a time approach in predicting significant input parameters and their ranges for biodiesel based engines

The present work described the prediction of significant input parameters and their ranges before applying the optimization techniques in a single cylinder variable compression ratio biodiesel based engine. Blending ratio, compression ratio and injection timing are found to be significant with their suitable ranges. Furthermore, one factor at a time (OFAT) approach is found to be useful method for preliminary screening of engine input parameters.
