ABSTRACT When a consumer uses a queueing system, they arrive for service, wait if it takes longer than expected, and then exit the system after their needs have been met. The main aim of the study is to Performance of queueing models with balking and reneging considered for the M/M/1/N queueing system. The arrival of customers to the system occurs sequentially, with each customer arriving independently according to a Poisson process characterized by a rate parameter λ.An M/M/1/N queueing system that incorporates baulking and reneging was examined in this chapter.
