ABSTRACT
The present study attempts on the Citation analysis of Ph. D Thesis In Library And Information Science 2008-2017. The study is based on 12311 citations appended at the end of 55 Ph.D. theses on Library and Information Science . The study focused on various aspects: such as year wise, Gender wise, Per thesis citation , Form wise, Chronological distribution of citations, authorship pattern ,Ranking of Journals, Languages wise, Indian and Foreign Distribution of Citations in library and information science. Journals is the major documents cited in maximum. Researchers mostly prefer Indian Publications.
