Phytochemical Screening of Thirteen Medicinal Plant Extracts

Abstract

Nowadays it is necessary to control the use of chemical pesticides to reduce environmental problems. This study provides the solution for this problem by using plant extract as biopesticide. As we know the secondary metabolites (steroids, flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, terpenoids) of some plants provide medicinal activity. So, in the present study provides the presence of phytochemicals in plant extract. The result suggest that this newly formed plant extract leads to novel formulation as biopesticide.
