Plant Derived Anti Dengue Agents -A Green Antiviral Approach

ABSTRACT

Herbal medicine (HM) is alternative medicine which is widely spread all over the world in recent times and gradually enters into healthcare systems [1]. The use of herbal medicine increases due to low cost, more acceptability because of low toxicity as it directly coming from natural resources. Dengue is a mosquito-borne disease which is spreaded around tropical and subtropical regions. This dengue is transmitted by Aedes mosquito (Aedes aegypti / Aedes albopictus). Incidence of dengue infection reaches to 400 million from 50 million globally. This review gives precise note on anti- dengue agents which is from medicinal plants naturally. This review helps the plant biologists and chemical researchers to identify the chemical compound present in plant and examine through invitro and in-vivo.
