ABSTRACT
Medicinal plants offer the most dynamic, polyvalent approach for management of complex, multifactorial physiologic imbalances. The End biogenic approach allows for medicinal plants to take their proper place at the head of the therapeutic list of consideration.
Researchers and clinicians do their best to investigate the main active ingredients that can be extracted from medicinal plants. Moreover, to clarify their role in the treatment of present diseases, and how they can be used to produce or synthesis more effective drugs.
Pluchea indica Linn.(Asteraceae) is a Thai medicinal plant used in traditional medicine for the treatment of hemorrhoids, lumbago, leucorrhoea and inflammation. From the review literature, it can be concluded that the most important constituent of Pluchea indica (L.) are plucheaurseryl acetate, pluchine & plucheaursenyl acetate is the main target of studies.
