Prediction of Cardiovascular Diseases with Retinal Images Using Deep Learning

ABSTRACT Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is one of the leading causes of death in the world today and a significant public health concern. Effective intervention and better patient outcomes depend on early detection and correct diagnosis of CVDs. It is possible to identify early indicators of cardiovascular disease using retinal imaging. The primary goal of this research is to detect CVD utilising retinal pictures and Deep Learning models like Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). It is possible to per-process and feed a set of retinal pictures from several imaging modalities into a CNN model in order to extract features and classify them. Error and other common metrics are used in performance evaluation.
