Production of Bio Plastics from Vegetable Waste (Potato Peel) and Investigation of Its Bio Degradability

ABSTRACT

The aim of my study Bioplastic was produced from the potato peels such as food industrial waste .The production of Bioplastic is 100g potato peels dried by using mortar and piston with 2drop of water and kept it for 1 hour The Starch settles down at the the bottom of Beaker The dried Starch Was obtained in 2 hours .The dried Starch was taken 10g and60ML of Distilled water , 5ML Acetic Acid, 5ML of glycerine mixed well and heat  it for half hour. The thicker jelly substance was obtained .incubated it for 3 days the Bio plastic p was formed .The water absorption And biodegradability of Bioplastic, .Solubility, Toxicity of Bioplastic, Microbial load Test, Anti microbial Activity, Flexibility Of Food Wrapper Was determined. The Major Application Of Bioplastic was Food wrapper. The Obtained Bioplastic Kept And Wrapped Different sweets.
