Quality Concerns Research in Teacher Education

ABSTRACT  Quality has continuously played an important role in teacher education and the service provided by them, helps to build up the future of society and the country also. Quality of teacher education develops the standard of institutions, students and society and it helps to improve the system of education. The Character of an institution can be seen with its regular functioning reflects concern for quality. Change for better in teacher education makes a different environment. The goal of quality and research in teacher education is to preparing teachers who are effective in a culture context. Research is an essential part of quality education which enables the development in education, implementation of new techniques in education and helps in good management for optimum utilization of available limited resources. Research is an important medium for finding something new for improvement in the education system. Wide thinking and involvement of all the staff (teaching & administrative) are required in assessment and improvement. There is a need for constant review in teacher education.
