Research Article: In –Vitro Spf Determination of Leaf Extract of Centella Asiatica and Its Sunscreen Face Mist Formulation

ABSTRACT The goal of the current study is to create a topical herbal face mist made from centella asiatica leaves and assess its ability to protect against sun damage. The effectiveness of plant extract as a sun protective agent can be determined by measuring the sun protection factor (SPF) .Centella asiatica leaf ethyl acetate extract was used to make the face mist. It was successful to create a topical face mist with a bioactive Centella asiatica leaf ethylacetate extract. It was discovered that the face mist was a very effective SPF formulation
