Small volumes of dry, hard stool are passed during infrequent bowel movements, which is the hallmark of constipation. Numerous factors contribute to this, three of which are major: nutritional, mental, and lifestyle issues. Unsatisfactory defecation—which might be caused by infrequent stools, challenging stool passage, or both—is the hallmark of constipation. It has a major impact on a person’s capacity to carry out everyday tasks, social functioning, and quality of life. The current research attempts to completely comprehend, from an Ayurvedic perspective, the pathophysiology of Vibandha (constipation) and its treatment.
