ABSTRACT
Oral drug delivery is simplest and easiest way of administering drugs, because of greatest stability, smaller bulk, accurate dosage and easy production.[1] The most popular oral dosage form beings Tablets and Capsules. In recent years the modern scientific and technological advancement in pharmaceutical field had created interest in reconstitutable oral suspension form. Dry Syrup is also useful in case of bioavailability as it has high bioavailability rather than tablets or capsules, as it disintegrates in water. Outside of oral cavity and directly the suspension is gone through the GIT tract. Therefore, suspension easily absorbs GIT. The present review gives an account of excipients used methods of preparation of dry syrups along with their evaluation their properties and ICH guidelines.[1]
