Review on: Lantana Camara and Its Medicinal Properties

ABSTRACT An evergreen plant called Lantana camara can be found all over India. It has historically been used to treat a variety of illnesses, and these treatments were supported by scientific data's. The phytoconstituents present in all portions of Lantana camara have been reported in a variety of literatures. In recent decades, scientists and researchers from all over the world have carefully examined the chemical composition of the complete L.camara plant as well as its pharmacological and biological activities. The purpose of the review is to analysis of the Herbal ointment of Lantana camara (Verbenaceae). The hydroalcoholic extract (Methanol+ Water in 7:3 ratio) of leaves and stem is used to prepare the ointment. The anti-microbial activityof theextract is use to investigate against Pseudomonas aeroginosa, E.coli, Staphylococcus aureus.
