Review Paper for Automatic detection System for Crack and Defects of Railway Track

ABSTRACT

In this review paper, we are going to know about automatic railway crack track detection and what are the techniques the author’s used for detecting the crack. Indian railway is one of most used transport system. So, that it is important to ensure the safety of people because the defects and crack produced in the track of railway is the main reason for causing railway accidents (it is said that 60% of accident is caused by crack in the track).There are many techniques for detecting the crack like RVDS(Railway Visual Detection System).It is used to detect or determine the squats, spalling, flaking in the track. RF modules also used for crack detection but it is used for only particular selection of area. The most used technique is Ultrasonic and IR sensor. In addition, the drone is used for crack detection in railway routes but it’s not a feasible method to inspect the routes or tracks in many critical structures. it uses MSC Adams Software.
