ABSTRACT Genetic engineering may help us in achieving increased food production at rapid rate. Hence, the products resulting from this technology has achieved great attention and scrutiny in terms of possible and underlying impacts on the human health and environment. Also, GMO’s has played a crucial role in production of new plant types which require less pesticides and offer better nutrition profile for the malnourished. The technology has all the under pinning to meet the demands of food production in rapid changing climatic conditions. But still GMO’s are in great controversy. Beside this we have our own choices and right that either we want genetically modified agricultural product or not.
