Sea Food Supply Chain Management Using Custom Blockchain

ABSTRACT: Supply chain plays important role in food distribution and management. Supply chains are transforming into intricate and automated networks, emerging as a significant potential source of benefits in today’s world. Seafood safety has become a top priority for the public and the private sector. Also, the customers and becoming more health conscious and are more interested to know what they are consuming. It is more challenging to track such data and maintain traceability through traditional supply chains. Traditional supply chains are centralized and are dependent on a third party for trading. It lacks transparency, accountability and auditability. In our proposed system we have provided a complete solution for Custom Blockchain Based Sea Food Supply chain. Blockchain is an immutable ledger which provides recovery option though it lacks in security for trading. In our proposed system we have introduced a QR Code for verification of trading between two independent parties to improve the trust factor.
