Self Driving Cars Using Deep Learning

ABSTRACT

In this project we plan to make a Self-Driving Car from scratch. We will be working on PyTorch for developing the environment. PyTorch is a highly advanced Deep Learning & Artificial Intelligence platform. We will use the environment to make the map, the car and all the features that go along with it. After doing this we plan to build an Artificial Intelligence which we will integrate with the car. We will give the car a source and then a destination to go to. According to the map and the destination given to the car, it will learn after several trial and error methods. After some time, it will find a path to that destination and without crashing it should smoothly drive itself to the destination.

Self-driving cars have been around for some time, but they have started to gain momentum only recently after sufficient development in the field of AI helping cars fully automate themselves. Through our project we aim to see how the car works on its own, how it learns and how it can be made better.
