ABSTRACT

In the 21^st century to build a successful organization leadership is a difficult task. However, today’s organization can become successful in every field of business by penetrating moral teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and Sikh leaders. We cannot deny the fact that Sri Guru Granth Sahib provides a wealth of management, thoughts, and detailed guidance to his readers and followers for stimulating and vitalizes the world wide business. In order to guide the leaders of the business organization and to run successfully value based management, we can use the moral values of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in an intended and instructed way. The knowledge and teaching of Sikh Guru’s guides to business practice and enlightened the positive approach in professional life. In this paper an attempt has been made to exemplify the wisdom or knowledge of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in the management of business organization which can help in the transformation of ordinary management into value based management. This paper tries to elaborate those principles today which are the foster ideals of leadership and business is also guided by these principles such as compassion, value of equality, justice, truthfulness, tolerance, transparency, motivation, which are enlightened in Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
