ABSTRACT
The study of organic hydrolysis of Benzyl methanoate was carried out in water EG (Ethylene Glycol) media in which the composition of the organic co-solvent was varying concentration from 30% to 80% (v/v) ranging from 293K to 313K. And it gives an idea about acidic hydrolysis of Benzyl methanoate ester with the help of enthalpy of activation
H*, entropy of activation
S* and Gibbs free energy of activation
G*.
The cause for decline in the values of Specific rate constants, the small increase in
G* Values and regular decrease in the values of
H* and
S* have been mentioned below.
