Simulation of Overheat and Single Phasing Protection for Induction Motor

ABSTRACT

This paper presents an detailed explanation of the overheating fault caused by thermal impact and winding overheat and single phasing fault in the three phase induction motor. In three phase induction motor due to voltage unbalance some unwanted effects occurs and because of that stator insulation damages. These faults also effects on the motor lifespan and can increase the motor maintenance cost. The methodology presents in this paper explains the single chip system where few peripheral electrical devices are connected and interfaced with the multi functional microcontroller. The software model created for this assurance gives adaptable and dependable activity to the motor. Proteus Software is utilized to plan the software model utilizing microcontroller. The conditions which are examined and described are responsible for the motor operation through the single phasing.
