ABSTRACT: This project introduces a novel security door lock system that combines the precision of mechatronics with the innovative application of sustainable energy methods. At the heart of the system lies an Arduino microcontroller, paired with a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The system ensures that access is granted exclusively to individuals whose fingerprints are recognized, thereby providing a secure and personalized entry mechanism. The innovation does not stop at security. The system is ingeniously designed to generate its own electricity through the kinetic energy harvested from the door's opening and closing motions. This self-sustaining feature not only provides a green solution to power availability issues but also ensures continuous operation without reliance on external power sources.
