ABSTRACT The rapid advancements in automation and robotics necessitate innovative solutions for safe, effective, and intuitive machine interaction with their surroundings. Automation systems that can interact with people and their surroundings in a safe and efficient manner are becoming more and more necessary as a result of the quick expansion of sectors like manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare. By incorporating touch sensors and sophisticated algorithms into machine surfaces, smart skin technology meets this demand by giving robots the ability to sense and react to elements like texture, temperature, and pressure. By doing so, tasks become safer, more flexible, and more precise, enabling robots to handle fragile objects and carry out intricate jobs in changing situations. Smart skin enhances automation across multiple industries by fusing AI with advanced sensors, providing increased intelligence, efficiency, and safety in human-machine interactions.Comprising a thin, flexible material integrated with advanced sensors, actuators, and processing units, smart skin empowers machines to detect and adapt to stimuli such as temperature changes and tactile inputs in real time. The natural destiny of the earth is thus threatened by severe human health conditions and catastrophic environmental harm at the microbiome level.
