ABSTRACT

In this age of technological advancement, there is a growing need among people for a safe lifestyle and mobility. For the past ten years, the number of vehicles on the road has been high. Tracking each vehicle becomes a very challenging task with great growth in the automotive sector on a daily basis. This paper suggests an automated vehicle parking system for speeding vehicles with the help of roadside surveillance cameras. The process of getting CCTV footage after real time is a very tedious process. To deal with this problem, an effective in-depth reading model such as You Only Look Once (YOLO) is used for object discovery. Character recognition efficiency should serve as a road map for achieving the necessary outcomes within the limits mentioned. The primary purpose of this research is to build a reliable detection and recognition technique for non-standard, transitional vehicle license plates often encountered in developing nations. Character recognition efficiency of drawn and printed plates in various styles and fonts is improved by combining many cutting-edge technologies. The proposed project has three key steps. In the first step, the video images are converted into photos and the car is found in each frame. In the next step, the license plate is obtained in the recovered vehicles. In the final step, the reading of the number plate letters is observed on its number plates found.
