ABSTRACT Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) is a popular and rapidly advancing technology that is being applied in various fields. The power is transferred from a source to an electrical load without the need of interconnections. WPT is useful to power electrical devices where physical wiring is not possible or inconvenient. The technology uses the principle of mutual inductance. One of the applications is in the automotive sector especially in Electric Vehicles. The main goal is to transmit power using resonance coupling and to build the charging systems. The systems deal with an AC source, transmission coil, reception coil, converter and electric load which are battery. The charging system is made with the help of solar panel. Integrating solar panels with WPT systems enhances the sustainability and efficiency of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Solar panels capture sunlight and convert it into electrical energy, which is then used to power the WPT system. This approach not only reduces reliance on the grid but also promotes the use of renewable energy. Additionally, solar-powered WPT systems can be deployed in various environments, including remote locations and urban areas, providing a versatile solution for EV charging infrastructure. The combination of solar energy and WPT technology represents a significant advancement towards achieving a greener, more efficient transportation sector, aligning with global efforts to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable energy solutions.
