Strategies Adopted by the Delhi Government School Teachers for Imparting Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum: An Exploratory Study

ABSTRACT Entrepreneurship Education has become an imperative instrument in light of the evolving economic, technological and social landscape. Inrecent years, the cultivation of an entrepreneurial mindset among students has been determined as a critical educational objective.However, the effective transmission of entrepreneurial thinking skills and motivation among students represents a considerable pedagogical challenge.This study aims at exploring the classroom strategies adopted by Delhi government school teachers for teaching the Entrepreneurial Mindset Curriculum (EMC). Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 30 teachers. Thematic analysis of responses revealed six key strategies: using the EMC teacher’s manual, incorporating fun activities, practicing mindfulness, promoting business blasters, collaborating with entrepreneurs, and applying active learning. Findings indicate the strategies enhanced communication, teamwork, critical thinking and entrepreneurial mindset among students. The study provides insights into effective pedagogical approaches for nurturing entrepreneurial thinking in school settings.
