Sustainable Concrete Innovation: Enhancing Durability and Performance through Industrial By-Product Integration

ABSTRACT Application of industrial waste in concrete production can be said to have a managerial implication in construction – sustainable. As an environmental friendly approach it entails the blending of concrete with waste products such as fly ash, slag and silica fume. They enhance the properties of concrete in general, their density, the density of the building and their workability. Also, it holds social advantage of emitting considerably less CO2 which is often characteristic of cement manufacturing. Looking at this breakthrough technique it not only solves problems with industrial waste but also improves the quality of building and construction types to ensure that they are environmental friendly and the best technological advancement of engineering.
