ABSTRACT In a modernage Digital Education play a very important role in one’s learning.The idea of digital education is not a novel topic it has been emerged since decade in different ways. Digital education is nothing but the utilization of innovative technology and electronic devices in teaching learning process.India has just initiated its digital transformation and digital education is the only way to achieve it. Digital education has transformed the traditional education of talk and chalk to quality, easy access, economical and convenience in learning.Digital education shares a lot of advantages as it provide students individual learning experiences, unlimited information at one click, ease of sharing the information and so on. SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active–Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is a digital India program initiated by Indian government and intended to attain the three cardinal principles of educationi.e.quality, access and equity with the aim to provide best teaching learning resources to all learners, including the most disadvantaged section.The investigator has prepared this paper keeping into consideration the SWAYAMs transformation in higher education followed with findings and suggestion on the basis of review of literature.
