ABSTRACT In this paper, we study the interrelationship between National Educational Policy (NEP) and start-up policies in India. There is a need to understand the complementarities and impacts of these two frameworks on the innovation ecosystem of the country. Our examination investigates how educational reform and policies influence the initiation, development and survival of start-ups that contribute to building a robust entrepreneurial ground for innovation. Our research therefore seeks to analyze an important insight in relation to creating a conducive environment for creativity, skill acquisition and economic progress by bringing out a correlation between education and entrepreneurship.
