ABSTRACT
Retrofitting is the process of modifying already-built structures to increase their longevity and function. Regular concrete structures may require retrofitting owing to a variety of issues, including corrosion, poor detailing, failed bonding, etc. Concrete structures are the primary subject of this essay. Surveys conducted after earthquakes have revealed that columns are the main issue with concrete constructions. Local techniques concentrate at the element level on a specific member that is weak and work to make it perform better. This technique involved covering the member's outside with concrete, steel, or composite materials. This paper provided an insight review for numerous retrofitting cases of concrete structure after earthquake issue.
