ABSTRACT
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it has been a great challenge to recognize the people infected by COVID-19. Many people are less symptomatic. The outbreak spreads through person-to-person contact. One notable symptom of COVID-19 is high body temperature. So, WHO has advised for body temperature screening to recognize COVID-19 and according to many researchers, it is also important to wear face mask to reduce the spread. Hence, we have implemented Temperature and Face Mask Detection System. In this project we have used contactless temperature sensor to measure the body temperature. The main controlling device of the project is Raspberry pi3 processor. For implementing face mask detection system, camera and OpenCV have been interfaced to Raspberry pi3 processor. This system will allow the person to enter if they are wearing face mask and their body temperature is in under WHO guidelines. This system can be implemented in crowded places such as shopping malls, schools, offices, etc. to inspect people.
