The relevance of Jane Austen’s novel; Sense and Sensibility in the 21st century

ABSRACT

Jane Austen’s was recognized as a great and world famous novelist in the beginning of the 18th century. Here, novels are the best source of communication with the readers. Her novels revolve around home lost and mentions gained the threat of poverty and the premise of wealth and Jane’s own life and gave her a unique insight in 41 years. She stayed in many houses at the age of eleven. She wrote plays, satires, poems but her six world famous novel highlights her own personality worldwide. This world famous novel was first literary efforts written in 1790 but published in 1811 A.D. The objectives and relevance of this novel is love, fraud, marriage, social values, social existence and a complete social standard of the people, women desires for love marriage with a suitable and a rich man. These objectives of this meaningful and renowned novel are too relevant in the 21stcentury and it’s a complete satire especially in the South- Asian countries and even in the whole world. Faultless technical construction, abounding in quiet humor, and excelling in the shading of characters and sensitive analysis of her feelings are comparing in the 21st century of the social life of the people in the whole world.
