ABSTRCT Born in 1757, William Blake was an English poet, painter, and visionary. His "Songs of Innocence" and "Songs of Experience," which examine the contrasts between purity and corruption in human existence, are his most well-known compositions. Blake combined his poems with elaborate images as a talented engraver. The French Revolution opened the eyes of William Blake to tyranny. The Lamb is the symbol of Innocence as the Tiger is the symbol of tyranny. He had a distinct spiritual perspective, and his art was frequently esoteric and profoundly symbolic. He was not well known while he lived, but today he is considered to be one of the most important Romantic personalities. Blake's two well-known works, The Lamb and The Tyger, are compared in this study article. The aim of this research paper is to compare the writing style, rhyme schemes, symbolism, innocence and experience, duality, tone, and themes of the poems.
