Author Name : Dr Nisha Kumari, Nivedita Raghupal S
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to find the Trust in Romantic Relationships among college students. It was conducted on a sample of 118 individuals who were in a Romantic Relationship. The tool used was Trust in Close Relationship Scale by Rempel and Holmes (1988). The 17-item scale was divided into three components: Dependability, Faith, and Predictability. The results show that the sample has a high level of Dependability and Faith and a below-average level of Predictability and Trust in their Romantic Relationships. The result shows that there is no significant relationship between Age and Trust and there is no significant Gender difference in Trust. The findings also indicate that the Frequency of meetings and Geographical distance had no effect on Trust in Romantic Relationships
