User Experience: Journey through time

ABSTRACT People always associate User Experience with digital platforms. There have been significant changes in how humans have interacted with products around them. The experience evolution and development has taken a remarkable leap in the last century. This study highlights how user experience emerged through time from the invention of wheel and evolved its way to digital platforms. People usually misinterpret the term User Experience as a modern concept but user experience isn’t something which started with the invention of digital screens, it is a term which is associated to all the products and system as we have experienced and seen through time. User experience has many stages to it. It starts from the moment you discover a product to the moment you see it and then buy the product. The packaging, the unpacking process and then finally the feel of the product. But it doesn’t stop there. Other factors like the interaction with the product and its usability also plays a very important part in delivering a good user experience. Even when we’re not around the product user experience plays it roles by just thinking about it or talking about it with someone.
