Uterine Prolapse in the Light of Unani System of Medicine: A Review

ABSTRACT Genital prolapse is the descent of vaginal walls into vaginal introitus. It is a major, silent common clinical gynecological disorder which is seen among elderly females which causing great impact on womens daily lifestyle. In Unani literature prolapse is known as Khurooj-ur-rahem, Zalaq-ur-rahem, Inqalab-ur-rahem Unani medicine can be used to control the early stages of prolapse that are asymptomatic and do not require surgical intervention.
