ABSTRACT Hemarthrosis is a condition of articular bleeding into the joint cavity, typically occurring after injury or in individuals with bleeding disorders like haemophilia. It is uncommonly associated with oral anticoagulant therapy, reported to affect 0.5% to 1% of patients. We present the case of an 87-year-old man with atrial fibrillation who complained of left knee pain and swelling without a history of trauma. He was receiving Warfarin for atrial fibrillation
