Wisdom and Grit among Young Adults Living with and Not Living with Grandparents

ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to study wisdom and grit among young adults who have been living with and not living with grandparents. The research included a sample of 146 young adults with the age group of 18 to 25 years. Out of 146 participants, 73 were young adults living with grandparents and 73 were not living with grandparents. The tools used for the study includes: San Diego Wisdom Scale, developed by Jeste, D. V., Michael, 2020, was used to assess wisdom and The Short Grit Scale, developed by Duckworth, A.L, & Quinn, P.D., 2009, to measure grit among young adults. The results indicate that there is significant difference in wisdom and grit among young adults living with and not living with grandparents. Wisdom and grit was found to be is more among young adults living with grandparents. There is significant relationship between wisdom, and grit at 0.001 level of significance.
