ABSTRACT

The Agricultural Machinery Rental System (AMRS) is a technology-driven solution designed to address the challenges faced by small-scale farmers in accessing and utilizing agricultural machinery. In many rural areas, farmers lack the necessary resources to purchase expensive farming equipment, limiting their productivity and overall efficiency. The AMRS aims to bridge this gap by providing a platform for farmers to rent machinery on-demand, promoting equitable access to modern agricultural technologies. This paper presents the development and implementation of the AMRS Android application, highlighting its key features and functionalities. The application offers a seamless and intuitive interface, allowing farmers to browse through a comprehensive catalog of available machinery, select their desired equipment, and schedule rental periods according to their specific requirements. Additionally, the AMRS Android application integrates a secure payment gateway, ensuring safe and convenient transactions between farmers and machinery owners.
