Author Name : Razia Mohiuddin Dar
ABSTRACT Jhumpa Lahiri and Chitra Banerjee Divakaruniare both the same Indian American authors who feel that in their heritage or homelands, they are members and not rootless and multicultural. The two authors' writing is mainly believed to be autobiographical because the bulk of their stories is located nearby. They investigate the experiences of immigrants, especially Indians who come to the USA. They examine Indian American women's research and lifestyles in India and America. It makes migrants and diaspora authors in their choirs and explains this experience since they are both born to Indian parents who cross borders through other nations. Their study identified two nations of identification, indispensable for the individual and cultural differences of the diaspora, and their related tales circulated the imbalance.
