Factors Affecting Use of Mobile Phones for Online Grocery Shopping

ABSTRACT: Presently, the retail grocery market is on the verge of digitalization and market shares are now being divided among the ones who succeeded to implement the latest technologies and hence offer a better customer service and the ones who didn’t. So, if you expect your business to do a lot more than just hang-around the break-even point and earn huge profits, then you know what change you need to make.The main aim of the study was to explore the role of mobile technology among consumers in shopping for grocery products.As people are increasingly relying on mobile technology, understanding the role of mobile devices in influencing the attitude of customers towards the adoption of the app in the grocery retail environment is extremely important for retailers and manufacturers who should develop mobile apps to take advantage of the mobile dependency of customers in order to influence consumer and buying behaviour during the purchase.
