Preparation and Luminescence Properties of MASO Long Persistent Phosphors Dopedwith Rare-Earth Elements

It was necessary to make and study phosphors of the formula MASO:Eu2+, Gd3+ in order to enhance their characteristics. Precursors, crucible composition, flux agents, dopants, and temperatures were all studied in relation to their synthesis conditions. They were studied using a systematic approach to elemental, kinetic and mineralogy (quantitative/qualitative), as well as morphological, study. Researchers may now examine in great detail the factors that affect the production of MASO:Eu2+, Gd3+ phosphors as well as their physical characteristics.
