A Comparative Study of E-Wallet Usage in Paytm and Google Pay with Special Reference to Customer Satisfaction in Vadodara

ABSTRACT

At present, digital payment systems are gaining popularity due to the 'Digital India' strategy. There are various types of digital payment systems, with Google Pay being one of the most popular. This research study was conducted in Vadodara City and focused on the demographic factors and users' opinions about e-wallets and Google Pay. The research design used for the study was a descriptive survey method, with the respondents being selected through convenient sampling. Data for the study was collected from 155 respondents through structured questionnaires.

The data collected through the questionnaires was then analysed using statistical analysis. Online banking enables users to conduct financial transactions over the internet, also known as internet banking or web banking. This study focuses on the satisfaction level of Google Pay and Paytm users in Vadodara city.

To attract more users, developers have introduced new features to identify the problems and preferences among them. To analyze the data, percentage analysis, ranking analysis and Likert scale analysis were used.

 It is important for users to keep their payment information secure, and this study concludes that the success of e-commerce payment systems depends on consumer preferences, ease of use, cost, authorization, security, authentication, accessibility and reliability.
