Author Name : Dr. Dipanwita Chakraborty
ABSTRACT Exploring Gandhi's theory of truth leads us to his perspective on the essence of non-violence. Considering non violence and truth are so closely linked that it is nearly impossible to separate them he realized that non-violence serves as the means, while truth represents the ultimate goal. Gandhi highlighted the positive aspect of Ahimsa or non-violence, which he referred to as love. He asserted that violence can never benefit humanity. So, violence must be entirely renounced in global matters, which is feasible when love and non-violence become the guiding principles of human life.
